Nancy E. Blanton
I love Diana Gabaldon's Claire and Jamie Fraser of the Outlander Series. Both are strong and distinct characters, they support each other, fight, have power struggles, unite in their goals, and maintain romantic spark. But I especially like their dialogue. It feels real, makes me laugh, touches my heart. Neither character is like anyone I have ever known, and yet they are believable.
