Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Jenn Thorson I've always been fond of Agatha Christie's Tuppence and Tommy Beresford and Elizabeth Peters' Amelia Peabody Emerson and Radcliffe Emerson-- and for similar reasons. Both work as an entertaining team for a common goal, and the focus isn't getting them together but how they operate differently and unite within their relationship to solve a case. It's a partnership in both instances and I really appreciate that. We don't see it too often in books and film.
