Ooo. Interesting question. And a hard one to answer. I love Jane Eyre and Edward Rochester, but Mr. Rochester is a bit too broody to make them my favorite couple. And I love the powerful story of Michael Hosea and Sarah in Redeeming Love, but Sarah's past is just too heartbreaking to make them my favorite. So I'm going to go in a different direction.
Maybe because of my age and stage in life, but I'm going to pick Charles and Caroline Ingalls. They were based on real people, I suppose, but I'm going to stick with them for my favorite fictional couple from the Little House on the Prairie series. They stood together through good times and bad, always had a word of encouragement or bit of wisdom to share, were kind to the extreme, and were godly examples to their children.
