Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Anna Willett I’d have to say Sherlock Holmes and his friend and biographer Dr Watson. First created in 1887 by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Holmes and Watson have become the most portrayed movie characters in history. I first read a collection of stories featuring Holmes and Watson when I was a teenager and became a huge fan. For me, the duo never lost their appeal.
