Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Mark King A good question. If the fictional couple can only be based on characters from books then you've got me stumped and I would struggle to name a pair. If you can include films, and after all most are originally book based, then it would have to be the mother and father of the bridegroom in Meet The Fockers. Two great actors playing two chilled out old hippies living a great life in beautiful surroundings, and doing all the things only youngsters think they should be doing. I'm a bit of a Mr Focker myself.
