That's a great question! I'm a big fan of Agatha Christie's Tommy and Tuppence. One of the things I like is the wide range of the writer who brought us Miss Marple (my all-time favorite) and Hercules Poirot. Another factor is that Tuppence is a heroine with courage and spunk who is both intelligent and daring but who doesn't put herself in foolishly dangerous situations. Tommy is a worthy support and partner for her and together they're a team for whom I wish Dame Christie had written more books.
