Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Michael Chrobak Although they aren't a literary couple, my favorite fictional couple would have to be Josiah and Abigail Bartlett from The West Wing. Sure, there are many, many more great romantic couples in literature - Gone With the Wind, Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, etc. But the relationship that Jeb and Abbey had was real. They weren't always kind, they weren't always the best of friends, but you could always tell underneath it that they were in love.
