Jamie and Claire from Outlander come to mind, and maybe this is because of the TV series, which is topical at the moment. I LOVE the idea of time-traveling from a modern period to a historic period. I think Diana Gabaldon crafted the conflict of a modern heroine with a sexy highlander well. I can't wait for season three. I own all of the books in the series and I think I'll read them again.
