Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Aaron Thomas Nynaeve al'Meara and al'Lan Mandragoran from Robert Jordan's "The Wheel of Time" series. They are both strong warriors in their own right, but due to traditions in the book are forced to switch leadership in their marriage depending of if they are alone or not. The struggle to adapt to their marriage vows makes for some interesting politics while struggling in a already difficult world. They do their best not upset the other while doing all they can to keep each other alive.
