Frank Zafiro
Patrick Kenzie and Angela Gennarro/Kenzie in the Dennis Lehane series (most recent and likely final one was THE MOONLIGHT MILE), because they are at once capable of loving each other more than anything in this world without surrendering who they are individually in the process. This comes at a great cost, of course, but it is admirable all the same.
