What a great question, and just in time for Valentines day. My all time favorite fictional couple is Joe Grey and Dulcie from Shirley Rousseau Murphy's Joe Grey cat mystery series, and yes - you guessed it - they are cats. Not only have Joe and Dulcie stuck together through 20 books over 21 years, but their love has grown ever stronger (see "Cat Shout For Joy"). Those two could teach most human couples a thing or two about love and devotion.
