First off, I just wanted to say how much I love your books! My question is actually about cystic fibrosis. I know a CF character was introduced towards the end of Animorphs, and there was one in Eve and Adam awaiting a lung transplant. I have CF and I never see it referenced in books so I noticed it immediately in those two books. I was curious if you had any particular reason for including CF characters?

Michael Grant My wife (and I) have a very small, off-the-record charity in Minneapolis that we started like 18 years ago called Creature Comfort, which pays for support animals for indigent people, many of whom are disabled or dealing with health burdens, and some of them have CF. I suspect that's where it comes from.
