It's nearly impossible to answer who is your favorite fictional couple. Let me venture an answer before I regret it: Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice. Such a timeless tale. Today I imagine Elizabeth is a liberal, and Mr. Darcy a conservative. They talk and listen to each other. They let the other person influence them and finally into their hearts. Together they form a strong alliance. I wish that world exists!
