Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Beverly Jenness I don't know that I have a favorite. I like characters I can become as I read. If I can not relate to the character, even on a very basic level, then I can't manage to finish the book. I like some of the classics like Holmes and Watson or Frodo and Sam (Lord of the Rings) I think I enjoy couples that compliment one another well and where the least of the two becomes the most important at times. A role reversal, if you will
