Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Laurie Lyons Ooooohhhh! There are so many, I love Anne and Gilbert and Katniss and Peta but my favorite ever has to be Jane Eyre and Mr. Rochester. Why? Well, I've read Jane Eyre many times over my life, probably more than any other book and every time I read it, I get a new feel for their relationship. When I was young, it was the scandalous feeling of their love, 'She's in love with her boss!' . Now that I'm older, I love their mutual respect for each other. I love their acceptance of each other's faults and the fact that they take each other exactly how they are. Their love and dedication to one another is wonderful.
