Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Ryan Jo Summers Dana Scully and Fox Mulder from X-Files. They were extreme opposites, who slowly fell for each other. They had true feelings, but were forbidden due to work situations, and that chemistry created some strong emotions for both of them. Had they been able to freely invest in their relationship, the show would not have been half as good. Their opposing views on just about everything kept adding to that chemistry as well.
