Goodreads asked G.K. Wuori:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

G.K. Wuori There's something of a myth that a writer should be writing 24/7/365. I don't, though I do write every day. Sometimes the stuff comes, sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't I just don't worry about it. Maybe I'll do something else, or maybe I'll sit and write nonsense. One thing that helps is that I keep a lot of journals and give myself permission to write anything in those that I want - doggerel, silliness, junk. Many times, though, when doing that, something emerges - maybe a character, a plot, a story, and then I just run with it.
