Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Reese Cantwell Interesting question. I read quite a bit though I do spend much more time writing and it's difficult to pick out a favorite fictional couple. There is a book I'm reading at the moment: I Want to Show You More, by Jaime Quatro, it is short stories, which is a favorite genre, and I just finished one story, Georgia The Whole Time, rather dark but intensely written about a wife and mother who finds she is diagnosed with melanoma, it's mostly about her, actually, and what I like best is the author's truth in depicting the wife in her struggle to deal with this finality. Sorry it's not sexy or cheerful, but it was moving in a way that was quite poignant.
