Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

C.E. Allan Noah and Allie from The Notebook. I must confess that I enjoyed the movie more than the book, which is unusual. The love they had for each other was beautiful. It's the first fictional relationship I've seen that made people look at their own relationship and compare. I read years ago that The Notebook inspired R Kelly to divorce his wife. I'm sure it ended a lot of other relationships as well.
