When did you take an interest in writing? And where did you learn how to write description? Your description is smooth like poetry.

I wrote a short story back in 2008. It was probably about 10,000 words. I realised that I enjoyed writing, liking how it all looked on the screen. From there, I got a whiff of a story in my head that related to a huge media story over here about missing persons. That's where Unknown was born. All I needed to do was work out the plot, characters etc, which I did on my honeymoon.
I've no idea about how to write description. I guess I just do it without thinking. I've certainly not the "Write Description" book. Is there one out there? lol.
