What is your favorite human/alien romantic couple?

Regine Abel First place is pretty much a tie between Amber and Meoraq from The Last Hour of Ghan by R. Lee Smith and Lisa and Grim from the Tornians series by M.K. Eidem. The first couple would probably win by a tiny margin because I hesitated a long time before picking up that book since the male interest was truly alien (a lizardman) unlike most scifi romance where the male is pretty much human with some minor tweaks to make him look alien. For me, a good romance is where the author makes me fall in love with the man and wish I was in the heroine's shoes instead. And R. Lee Smith achieved that. By the time the romance between the two MCs started blossoming, I simply didn't care that he had scales and his mouth was like a short dragon's snout. It was all the more impressive that their worlds and culture were so completely opposed, yet they fought their way through those differences to make the most unlikely relationship work in a way that quite believable.
