Ideas start swirling in my head. Sometimes it's just a phrase that sounds like an interesting title. Once I was walking behind a woman in Italy admiring her outfit, and Italian dressing popped into my head. I turned that phrase into an article titled A Recipe for Italian Dressing, which described how Italian women put themselves together so well - la bella figura.
