“থাবা বাবাকে হত্যার পর আনসারুল্লাহটিমের বানানো যে ভিডিও ছাড়া হয়েছিল ইউটিউবে আর ফেসবুকে। বিভিন্ন সহি হাদিসসের ভিত্তিতেই ঐ হত্যাকে জায়েজ করা হয়েছিল ভিডিওতে। ভিডিওতে পরিষ্কারভাবে বলা হয়েছিল, নবী মুহম্মদ যেভাবে কাব ইবনে আশরাফ, আসমা বিন্তে মারওয়ানের মত কবিদের হত্যা করেছিলেন ইসলামের আর নবীর বিষেদগার করার শাস্তি হিসেবে, ঠিক একই ভাবে থাবা বাবাকে মেরে ফেলাও জায়েজ হয়েছে। চিন্তা করে দেখুন প্রাচীন কালের অশিক্ষিত ধর্মাবতারদের বাণী বুকে করে যেভাবে থাবা বাবা হত্যায় মোটিভেটেড হয়েছে একটা অত্যাধুনিক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সাধারণ কিছু ছাত্র – এ থেকে বোঝা যায় এই ‘ডেঞ্জারাস মিম’ কতটা শক্তিশালী। আবুরাফেকে হত্যার জন্য যেরকম ৫/৬ জনের সাহাবীদের দল গঠন করা হয়েছিল, ঠিক একই কায়দায় থাবা বাবাকেও হত্যা করা হয়েছে, এবং তারা প্রকাশ্যেই বলে – যে কারণে ব্লগার রাজীবকে হত্যা করা ফরজ ছিল, এবং তার সব সহযোগীদের ও হত্যা করা ফরজ।
