“But neither infinite power nor infinite wisdom could bestow godhood upon men. For that there would have to be infinite love as well.”

“His followers called him Mahasamatman and said he was a god. He preferred to drop the Maha- and the -atman, however, and called himself Sam. He never claimed to be a god, but then he never claimed not to be a god.”

“Call themselves?" asked Yama. "You are wrong, Sam, Godhood is more than a name. It is a condition of being. One does not achieve it merely by being immortal, for even the lowliest laborer in the fields may achieve continuity of existence. Is it then the conditioning of an Aspect? No. Any competent hypnotist can play games with the self-image. Is it the raising up of an Attribute? Of course not. I can design machines more powerful and more accurate than any faculty a man may cultivate. Being a god is the quality of being able to be yourself to such an extent that your passions correspond with the forces of the universe, so that those who look upon you know this without hearing your name spoken. Some ancient poet said that the world is full of echoes and correspondences. Another wrote a long poem of an inferno, wherein each man suffered a torture which coincided in nature with those forces which had ruled his life. Being a god is being able to recognize within one's self these things that are important, and then to strike the single note that brings them into alignment with everything else that exists. Then, beyond morals or logic or esthetics, one is wind or fire, the sea, the mountains, rain, the sun or the stars, the flight of an arrow, the end of a day, the clasp of love. One rules through one's ruling passions. Those who look upon gods then say, without even knowing their names, 'He is Fire. She is Dance. He is Destruction. She is Love.' So, to reply to your statement, they do not call themselves gods. Everyone else does, though, everyone who beholds them."
"So they play that on their fascist banjos, eh?"
"You choose the wrong adjective."
"You've already used up all the others.”

“But godhead is, after all, a matter of fact, not a matter of opinion: if a man is generally worshipped as a god then he is a god. And if a god ceases to be worshipped he is nothing.”

“Tis open before your eyes," returned the scout; "and he who knows it is not a niggard of its use. I have heard it said that there are men who read in books to convince themselves there is a God. I know not but man may deform his works in the settlement, as to leave that which is so clear in the wilderness a matter of doubt among traders and priests. If any such there be, and he will follow me from sun to sun, through the windings of the forest, he shall see enough to teach him that he is a fool, and the greatest of his folly lies in striving to rise to the level of One he can never equal, be it in goodness, or be it in power.”

“You can still be a god!” Setne croaked. “All of you! Together we can –“
“I don’t want to be a god,” I said. “You don’t get that, do you? You couldn’t find anything about me you could relate to, which I take as a big compliment.”

“Know, child, that the One God—He is so vast that He cannot be moved, else the Universe falls. Nor can He answer, for the very act of opening His Mouth is Movement, indeed the greatest Act of all, for it is the Word. And this is precisely why He has made an infinity of lesser gods, creating them in His own image, so that we can do the lesser things on His behalf. We are His hands and arms and feet and mouths. We are His answers to your prayers, enacted along the great Framework of Being.”

“True singing is breath of another kind.
A breath that aims nowhere. Pneuma within the god. A zephyr.”

“After achieving Godhood a man surpasses all worldly hazards. But it is not that he will have no worldly actions. This state can be termed as apathetic. Everything will be there, but nothing can touch him.”

“When a man achieves Godhood, then this spiritual power becomes active spontaneously and the seer remains merely as witness. This is a knowledge of Supreme self and unless the mind becomes apathetic this knowledge cannot manifest within the body. Whenever you will say something on dualism, there will be flaws.”

“What is the own self of God? Where is the existence of God? He is within a human body. If any man achieves the Godhood, then his form will be manifested within others and transform them into his own form in the spiritual world. And that transformation does not occur after death”

“Religion is to attain Godhood - Brahma and its only proof lies in the Universalism; otherwise that which remains confined in an individual life should not be reckoned as it is not accepted in the Vedas, as the Vedic truth is corroborated through experience by the general people.”

“By offering flowers to the goddess what they are doing? The man is deceiving himself - deceiving the whole world. The yogic meaning of flowers is the brain-cells. Those who can sprout them to achieve Godhood, then that will be the proper offering.”

“ALL THE STORIES ABOUT GODHOOD HAVE BEEN WRITTEN BY MEN. HOW, THEN, ARE THE TO BE BELIEVED? LESS HAVING FAITH IN A HIGHER POWER, THAN HAVING FAITH IN MEN TO NOT MISTYPE”

“By contemplating the full spectrum of scenarios of the coming technological singularities many can place their bets in favor of the Cybernetic Singularity which is the surest path to cybernetic immortality and engineered godhood as opposed to the AI Singularity when Homo sapiens is hastily retired as a senescent parent. This meta-system transition from the networked Global Brain to the Gaian Mind is all about evolution of our own individual minds, it’s all about our own Self-Transcendence.”

“Every man is Brahma in embryo. Every man wants to be liberated. His body allures and entices him to remain confined in the body. He forgets his own proper Self or Godhood.”

“People look at the actors on their television, and think their more than they are, they are not. We tend to look at gifted singers as they touch our heart with emotion, and think their more than they are, they are not. These gifted athletes we love to watch compete. People think their more than they are, they are not. Thank you Jesus for allowing me to place words on paper that people enjoy. I am just a man, and not any more than that. When we understand this, we can start looking at ourselves as unique in kind. For all of us, it will our spirit, and Godhood that raises us up, and makes us realize God is in control of all things. In Jesus name. Amen.”

“Every human being is God, and this universal Godhood is the correct one because a human being is born to achieve Godhood.”

“When I awake each morning, I thank God for another day. I ask how I can make the world a little bit better. I’m only one man, but you’ve allowed me to write for you Dear God. With each letter I type, I feel you Dear God, and this anger, division; lies told about one another tears our world apart. To gain a person’s confidence with manipulation never last. Sooner or later the large curtain will open, and will drop to our knees crying, wondering why we chose the path of hatred knowing this could never build good morals? It will always be that spark of Godhood that will surface, to pick us up and show the way. Amen.”

“It’s only God Himself who can truly give validation and recognition for our actions and opinions, and His approval is what makes them worthy of all things. The feelings in our heart coming from God are the only feelings of validation we strive. It’s that spark of Godhood. For this emotional gift of morals are some of the most spiritual gifts of all.”

“When a person attains Godhood, he will sit quietly in a place. There will be no need of preaching. As magnets attract iron material, anybody with a good prejudice will automatically come to that person.
This phenomenon is above the nature.”
