Balajinnatha Pandita
“Starting from the source of vibrant Consciousness, the first two tattvas of Shaivism are (1) Shiva tattva and (2) Shakti tattva. It is important to understand at the beginning that these two tattvas are only linguistic conventions and are not actually part of creation. According to the deep yogic experience of the sages of this philosophy, there is no difference between Shiva tattva and Shakti tattva. They are both actually one with Paramasiva. They are considered to be two tattvas only for the convenience of philosophical thinking and as a way of clarifying the two aspects of the one absolute reality, Paramasiva. These two aspects are Shiva, the transcendental unity, and Shakti, the universal diversity. The changeless, absolute and pure consciousness is Shiva, while the natural tendency of Shiva towards the outward manifestation of the five divine activities is Shakti. So, even though Shiva is Shakti, and Shakti is Shiva, and even though both are merely aspects of the same reality called Paramasiva, still, these concepts of Shiva-hood and Shakti-hood are counted as the first two tattvas. These two tattvas are at the plane of absolute purity and perfect unity.

Kala Krishnan Ramesh
“From his father's head, the jata, bleached red and gold by the sun and wind and cold on this highest mountain in all creation, tumbled down, like the ashen ariel roots of the tree. A thin stream of light, powdery, like fine dust, emanated from the middle of his forehead. Mother, seated beside Father, was leaning towards him, and he knew that their two bodies, at some point, would be so close together, you couldn't tell where one ended and other began.”
Kala Krishnan, Mahasena : Part One Of The Murugan Trilogy

“Seeing God is as difficult as seeing the white cinema screen when a 3D movie is playing on it.”

Deeksha Tripathi
“हर सुर असुर मानव ने पाए दो नेत्र,

देखने समझने को ये रोचक जग,

जिसमें है छुपा छलावा हर पग,

किन्तु जो देख न पाए कोई देखे उसे त्रिनेत्र।”
Deeksha Tripathi, शिवाय

Deeksha Tripathi
“त्रिलोकपति महादेव के ध्यान मात्र से पवित्र हो उठे अंतरमन,

सच भाग्यशाली है नाग वासुकी जो विराजमान है उनकी ग्रीवा पर,

भाग्यवान है चंद्र जो सुशोभित है उनके मस्तक पर,

परंतु इनसे भी अधिक खुशकिस्मत है गंगा जो बहती है उनके घने केशों से”
Deeksha Tripathi, शिवाय

Deeksha Tripathi
“शिव का अभिन्न अंग हैं नंदी,

शिव भक्त उन्हीं के कान में लगाएं अपनी अर्जी।

जहां शिव वहां नंदी

नंदी बिन शिव भक्ति अधूरी।

नंदी का ही तो दूसरा नाम है समर्पण व आस्था,

एवं शरणागत पर प्रेम व दया का नाम हैं नंदी नाथ।”
Deeksha Tripathi, शिवाय

Deeksha Tripathi
“अर्धनारीश्वर का रूप ले,

शिव शक्ति ने दिया संदेश,

नर नारी के प्रेम,

सुख दुख में भागीदारी का.

एक शरीर के दो अंग वो,

एक सत्य के दो रूप वो,

एक साथ ही उनका अस्तित्व,

है मुमकिन.

बिन एक के,

अधूरा है दूसरा.”
Deeksha Tripathi, शिवाय

“Life, like the sacred Ganga, flows from the divine to the mundane. Cherish your family as the banks that guide your path, and friends as the currents that propel you forward. In the dance of existence, each step is a blessing, each beat a prayer. Embrace all with love, for we are all part of the cosmic rhythm.”
Keshab Kumar

“Śiva is both the creator and destroyer of the universe, movement and tranquility, light and darkness, male and female, celibate and promiscuous. These paradoxes serve to symbolize the limitlessness and freedom of the divine and suggest that what we might ordinarily consider oppositions are, in fact, closer than we think. These divine dimensions are illustrated in the images of Śiva as Mahāyogi, the Lord of the Dance (Natarāja), and Half- Woman Lord. The image of Śiva as the Great Yogi accents Śiva’s tranquil, ascetic aspect, providing a model for many Śaivites who seek to practice asceticism. The Natarāja image depicts Śiva’s cosmic dance during the auspicious occasion of the Mahashivaratri, the great night of Śiva, when he dances to dispel the ignorance of the night. He holds a drum and a flame; with the drum, he sounds the world into existence, and with the flame, he destroys it in order to create another. [...] The Hindu images of divine, both anthropomorphic and aniconic, function symbolically to point beyond themselves to ultimate, infinite reality.”
Mark W. Muesse, Great World Religions: Hinduism

“So, the creative energy for the universe is the destructive energy for shiva- it is the revealing energy for the universe and the concealing energy for Lord Shiva. And the destructive energy for the universe is the creative energy for shiva i.e it is the concealing energy for the universe and the revealing energy for Lord Shiva. Para kundalini is the supreme visarga of Shiva. As you know from studying the theory of matrikachakra, visarga(:) comprises two points. The points are said to be Shiva and Shakti. In the real sense, however these points are not shiva and shakti: they are the revealing point and the concealing point”
Swami Lakshmanjoo, Kashmir Shaivism: The Secret Supreme

“Jo nahin hain

“O Shiva, cosmic dancer divine,
In Your rhythm the stars align.
Source of silence, source of light,
Guide our hearts through day and night.
Om Namah Shivaya.”
Debasish Mridha M.D.

“O Lord Shiva,
Eternal dancer of the endless night,
Whose steps create the stars,
Whose rhythm shapes the flow of time,
In Your divine motion, the cosmos is born,
And in Your stillness, the universe dissolves.
You are the flame that never flickers,
The silence behind every sound,
The breath within all living beings,
The boundless sky where consciousness awakens.
Your matted locks cradle the sacred river,
Your crescent moon glows with timeless wisdom,
Your third eye holds the fire of truth,
Burning away illusion and revealing the One.
O Mahadeva,
In Your dance we find creation,
In Your grace we find liberation,
In Your presence we find peace.
Let Your cosmic rhythm flow through our hearts,
Let Your light rise within our minds,
Let Your love guide our every step,
Until we become one with Your eternal consciousness.
Har Har Mahadev.
Om Namah Shivaya.”
Debasish Mridha M.D.

spinning the stars in His cosmic trance,
the heartbeat of the universe,
and the radiant center of all consciousness.”
