I am very late to this party, but I found this book delicious start to finish. Moving. Layered. Believable. I particularly admired how the author depicted the protagonist, Sybil Van Antwerp, as snippy, edgy, and yet we, as readers come to love her humanity. A unique and delightful novel of letters.
