This one looks very interesting.

I'm about 1/3 through now, and what was set up as kind of a romp of a book has evolved somewhat. The unnamed narrator continues to be funny, but the contemporary storyline is developing hints that all is not well underneath what she's telling us. The interspersed flashbacks to 1847's time on board the Erebus are quite harrowing. I'm interested in seeing where the book goes: I suspect it's going to turn dark on me.
