Oh... first Hemingway....I've wanted to read it for such a long time..It looks like an original Hemingway-style saudade.. For those crazy years. Can't wait to start..
Merci , Maria

Yes, Hemingway in Paris — poor, but happy.
But you, writing on the terraces....Same happiness, just another location... Le soleil se lève aussi, là où tu es....
For some time now, I’ve preferred reading on the hotel rooftop. There’s too much noise out on the terrace and I can’t concentrate.
Good choice. That reminds me Beatles' " Get Back ", on the rooftop. Rooftops inspire. I'II try Tour Montparnasse rooftop as well :))

Perhaps, we feel like we own the world when we’re up on the rooftops.
Something like that.. It gives the impression of a smaller world. And people too. They seem smaller, insignificant. And that's the paradox - they never really are.

Sois la bienvenue, Celeste ! Merci for your opinion, you already have an excellent intuition when it comes about my tastes.
From what i've read in description, I will enjoy a lot. Those crazy years are part of a chapter in Hemingway's life that profoundly marked his personal style. I wish I could have lived in those times. Happiness needed nothing. Only passion.

First Hemingway book I’ve read — and I really liked it.
Merci.
