Thanks Kaje. That actually does seem pretty on point. I was thinking more of emotional wounds and isolation, but this sounds interesting. Sort of looking for an "us against the world," "you restored my faith in living" kind of romance....
I like her writing and characters, although perhaps more gentle and hopeful than you were in the mood for.
