I hope you like the recommendation. It's one large read, something like 750 pages. And I think it's the first book of a trilogy. Number 2 comes out in 2012.
You might look into Murakami too. Not dystopian, just some really well written crazy/surreal creative and novel stories. I'm hooked on his writing. A recent discovery.
