Thank you for the rec! I've heard a lot about this and seen it on Instagram tons of times even tho I'm not 100% sure what it's about.
I know, the hype is immense, there's no escaping it. I've heard wonders about Sarah J. Maas, so I want to give her a try. I haven't read this one though, yet, but I've heard it is becoming a tv series soon, so I'll definitely read it before that

Oh, wow, I didn't know that. Though sometimes the hype isn't justified. It happened to me with Shatter Me, I read it because it is becoming a tv series, and it turned out to be so bad I can't even start to explain myself
Yeah I heard Shatter Me wasn't quite what people were expecting, but I didn't know it's gonna be on TV (will check it out though). One of my biggest let downs has been Daughter of Blood and Starlight. I have been "reading" the third book for years and the two before that were quite boring and it took me a while to read them. I get kind of annoyed everytime my friends praise them.
Oh, the book by Laini Taylor, right? I haven't read that one. Not every book is for every person. I mean, for example, I don't like the Twilight saga, but a lot of people love it and are die hard fans. I will never be able to understand them, because for me, Twilight is little more than toilet paper (my apologies if you like it). On the other hand, I LOVE Harry Potter, and I don't get people who telll me they didn't like it, because for me it's pure love.
Yeah, the only reason I had to read Shatter Me was the promise of the tv show. I thought, "If this is going to be on tv, then I must be missing something". Boy, I was wrong.
