This does involve an older necromancer, except I hate him lol

He just suuuucks haha like the whole time I was rooting against him instead of for him, which is a pretty unusual experience. I thought a lot of his actions were unjustified.
The point is that he is not a good person, like he's supposed to be quite the anti-hero. He leans a little too far into being awful for my tastes, but I can kind of see the appeal if somebody did like him for his cleverness and confidence
oh this will be an interesting read for me, normally I tend to not like such characters as well. But the book sounds good! It is not the character I look for but I put the book on my list for the next shopping trip to the bookstore.
