The Little Stranger should tick a lot of your boxes! A great novel that might be a bit too slow burn for some but if it does get eerie, it's eerie with a capital E! I'd say, you certainly won't forget the ending. At least it still stays with me and it's been quite a while since I've read The book :)

I'm about halfway through. I can't wait for all the spooks to fall into place, but for now I love seeing a character falling in love against their will
At the same time however, I am becoming increasingly suspicious of the narrator >_>

Overall, I thought it was pretty good. I had no idea where I thought it was going! The ending was a gutsy move, I thought there'd be a grand reveal of "HOW" but nope, you have to decide for yourself.
