Abercrombie imbreases the 'grimdark' label but I found the sense on humour with the grit refreshing, and the plot quick
I do have this on my 'want to read' but the only problem is that it is the first book of a series right? and I currently want just standalones, but still thanks for the tip

No idea it was planned for a series- though I see how it could be expanded on
yea, you can now see the announced book called the heretics. But did it feel complete? maybe it will be just in the same world, with different characters and not a direct sequel
