R *is for Relentless* I'm reposting my previous comment. It looked funny on my screen so I'm not sure what happened with it. Here are a few more series you might like. Karen Marie Morning Immortal Highlander series starts with s Beyond the Highland Mist (Highlander, #1) by Karen Marie Moning . It does have some paranormal elements.
