Allie Lynn (EquineontheMind) It's not entirely romance (think teenage crush romance) but the Dear America book My Secret War is pretty good and it's clean.

Aliya Gerow Louisa June and the Natzis in the Waves isn’t romance, but it was a SUPER good WW2 book and I loved the characters so muchhh
