We have a lot of books in common, so I'm hoping that one or more of these recommendations will fit what you're looking for.
Thanks! I really do need recommendations for the next 13 weeks of reading, so this is very helpful :)
Hey honey - I got absolutely hooked on the Artemis Fowl novels by Eoin Cowlfer (spelling?) They are children's novels, but they have a fantastic scope of sci-fi fantasy and are really creative. Also, Jasper Fforde's "Thursday Next" series is sci-fi/crime set in the literary world. It's hilarious too.

I actually own all of the Thursday Next series, plus the Nursery Crime series, and Shades of Grey. I've read most of Artemis Fowl (am actually waiting for the box set to come out so I can finish them!). Any suggestions along those lines? :)
