Looking for great books to read. I'm open to almost any genre. I'm not too keen on modern romance but would read one if it was intelectually stimulating and a good story. Childhood's End, Snow Crash, Cryptonomicon, The Handmaid's Tale, and Ender's Game are some of my favorites. I enjoy a good nonfiction book and have read a ton of classic literature from Shakespeare and Homer to Jane Austin and Mark Twain. I can get into Scifi fantasy, historical fiction, drama (plays), dark comedy, revisionist history and post modern fiction, to name a few. I'm not bound to one genre or author. I'm open to reading new things and seeing the world in a different light from unique points of view....more
