A lot of bickering and banter and hilariousness and some almost-but-not-quite-kissing (and then some real kissing) usually thus ensues, think Moira Young's BLOOD RED ROAD-era Saba x Jack or Lex x Driggs from Gina Damico's CROAK trilogy. Another good example of this would be Penryn x Raffe from ANGELFALL (Susan Ee).
YA books would be great, but are not a requirement....more
