Looking for books about Wall Street, specifically books that explain the mortgage/credit crisis in the 00s in relatively simple terms. Bonus points if the book explains exactly how credit default swaps work.

I've noticed I don't use the star-rating system according to Goodreads' valuation of each rating (e.g. according to GR, 2 Stars="It was okay"; I disagI've noticed I don't use the star-rating system according to Goodreads' valuation of each rating (e.g. according to GR, 2 Stars="It was okay"; I disagree). So here's approximately what I mean by different ratings:
1 Star- So bad that I honestly don't understand what the appeal is. Insulting to the reader's intelligence and a waste of her time. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
2 Stars- Bad, but I was (usually) able to make it all the way through.
3 Stars- Perfectly fine, and worth reading, although not "great."
4 Stars- Very good. Great even, but there was a tiny thing or two that mildly disappointed me.
5 Stars- A book that achieves what I consider to be the very highest standard of literature. Near-perfect....more
