I'm a Tennessee girl that lives in the "valley," and I love seeing mountains all around. I love my God, my Savior, my husband and two boys. Obviously,I'm a Tennessee girl that lives in the "valley," and I love seeing mountains all around. I love my God, my Savior, my husband and two boys. Obviously, I enjoy reading, and I also like yoga, walks, journaling, thrifting/antiquing and history. Other favorites are summertime, coffee, dogs, smell-good candles, and Cherry Coke. I hope to be a life-long learner, and I love collecting and logging away random facts. I don't have my built-in shelves with a rolling ladder, but I do have my upstairs library, antique desk, and comfy chair by the window. I thrive most when things are simple, and sometimes feel nostalgic for things I've never experienced.
You won't find many lower star ratings because I'd just prefer to remove a book from my list entirely and move on to something better. I'm a little slow, but I do try to review all of the books I read, even if it's just a "quickie review."
I'm a long-time member and co-moderator of Christian Fiction Devourers, and I currently review for the Historical Bookworm Podcast and have also reviewed for BookPage.
**A note about friend requests** I'm happy to accept friend requests, but I am much more likely to accept a friend request if I have had some sort of interaction with you (in a group or otherwise), we have similar tastes in books, etc. I am weary of accepting requests from random members without some basis of interaction. ...more
