Honestly just trying to reach the atmospheric levels of reading that I once did as a kid— I think we all recognize the rhetorical fugue I’m referring to here (and if you don't, congratulations, the 21st century has not decimated your attention span and cognitive levels to that of a goldfish's.) (Yet.) Here's hoping that maybe the right book (if not the right number of books) will slowly revive that kind of immersion once again. I suppose this is what junkies mean by trying to relive that first hit (??? Was this supposed to be PG-13?) (Just go w it? Pls.)
I'm literally half asleep right now - please don’t judge this section too hard. I just wanna read and get back into reviewing books as I once used to.
P.S. This isn’t necessary but dunno why I feel the need to disclaim that I'm an INTP. Man, MBTI really out here being the most objective, brief yet impersonal heuristic for self-introduction. What a 10/10 perfect little descriptor. God bless Carl Jung. (Yes the Jungian MBTI, not the one by Myers-Briggs, no no no, that's blasphemy.) Alright, I'm done for real now. :3...more
