I recently wrote a coming of age book, Dancing in Puddles, which explores the emotional paralysis that strikes many young men when they're in college. Up until college, they have been brought up with a delusional sense of self, stemming from parents', teachers', and coaches' constant praise. In many ways, it’s a contemporary sequel to The Catcher in the Rye.
