Mysteries have always thrilled me. I was raised on BBC and Jane Austen adaptations and they have been nothing short of tremendous influences to me. AsMysteries have always thrilled me. I was raised on BBC and Jane Austen adaptations and they have been nothing short of tremendous influences to me. As an adult, while I still read a few teen novels here and there, just to keep up with the young'ens, I enjoy reading the most suspenseful thrillers and the most stumping mysteries. And if the story takes place in a different time period, then it's all the better! I also love reading about amazing historical women, a growing subgenre. Some of my favorite authors include Karin Slaughter, Peter Swanson, Riley Sager, Edith Pattou, Taylor Adams, Blake Crouch, and Jennifer McMahon. ...more
