- I loved Perfume, it definitely has that unsettling vibe throughout and is a gripping read. It is unlike anything else in terms of plot.
- The New York Trilogy by Paul Auster also has an unsettling, thriller type vibe.
- Never Let Me Go is also unsettling in a different way, because its about a dystopian type future. The things that are wrong in society are only subtly hinted at, but you notice it throughout the book. Writing is beautiful.
