As long as they aren't of the Dystopia variety (books like The Hunger Games, Maze Runner or Divergent)(I didn't enjoy them and didn't get past the first books in those series) I can do historical fiction (books like Allison Goodman's Dark Days Club) but the era has to right nothing past 1920, I cannot tolerate contrary fiction. Neither to I enjoy paranormal romance. That trope where girl has normal modern life and it suddenly gets pulled upside down can't tolerate that either...more
