I've always loved reading from the time I was five. I started reading the bible stories from the Arthur S. Maxwell Books and tHi, My name is Amaris 😊.
I've always loved reading from the time I was five. I started reading the bible stories from the Arthur S. Maxwell Books and then stories about missionaries and their adventures as I got older. I also read a lot about black history and the African Americans that fought for their freedom like Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman and about the underground railroad. I kind of had a reading drought the past few years and was just reading books I already had over and over again. I just needed to figure out what books and genres I was into.
Then I found out about Biblical Fiction and I was immediately intrigued, since I grew up with Bible stories and was really interested how the Authors would present the stories and the historical details and just make the stories come alive and help me to understand the Bible and Bible times better.
I also love to read Books from Ellen G. White for my daily devotion, and am hoping to read more of her books as well! Books like Steps to Christ are ones I will read over and over again, because they're so beautiful & of course I believe, inspired!
So I'm just starting to get into Biblical Fiction, so feel free to give me some recommendations!
I also would love to find more Christian Historical Fiction or Non-Fiction about young women who surrendered their lives to God and went through ups and downs but became strong in their faith. Uplifting, encouraging and faith affirming stories.❤️
