I joined a few years ago with the goal of reading and reviewing 52 books s year. This year I totally missed my goal, due to chronic illness and an accident in early September that broke my shoulder in four places. Recovery and therapy are slow and most everything is slower. My summer has been more productive than I dreamed it would be. I've read more books under my favorite Maple tree, taken longer walks with my sweet shiatzus daily and my semi adult grandchildren have turned one of my spare bedrooms into a cozy library full of books. They know Grammy's the happiest when she's reading.
