I recently read Mysterious Skin and absolutely loved it. Ever since, nothing has seemed as good, so it's been hard to find motivation to read. Any reccomendations for something similar?

Please note that I am not specifically asking for similar books plot-wise. I did not enjoy Mysterious Skin because of its dark content, but for the beautiful way in which it was written. No dark content is totally fine if it's written well....more
