I am going back into reading, and I am finding it hard to choose the right book, considering that I have been away from BookTok/Bookstagram for a long time.
I want an easy standalone book to get me back into reading. Usually, I reread "Sky in the Deep" to ease myself into reading books, since it's fun and simple to read. I love fantasy and supernatural books.
Some of my favorite books are:
- The Four Horsemen Series by Laura Thalassa
- Harry Potter/Percy Jackson/all the OG series
- Six of Crows Series
- Sky in the Deep
- The Folk of the Air Series
- Cursebreakers Series
- The Lunar Chornicles
- Firebird series
- A court of Thorns and Roses series
--> I was looking for stand-alone books (maximum a duology), fantasy or supernatural, and kind of mature books but not the main idea of the story, but definitely like enemies-to-lovers vibes (slow-burn?). If not fantasy but contemporary books, maybe something like the TV shows "Bodyguard," "The Night Agent," "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Bucky)," "The Gray Man (Movie)," etc. This vibe.
I understand this might have been the most confusing recommendation request; I would be super grateful for anyone that can help!!!
